NAIA is the eighth worst airport in terms of queueing time

Casago reported that the country’s main gateway ranked 8th among the top 10 worst airports in the continent regarding queueing time.

It "analyzed passenger reviews about queuing times rated on a scale of 1 star to 5 stars on airlinequality.com, taking into consideration only airports with 20 or more passenger reviews."

Casago said only 18.11 percent of passengers highly approved of the queuing time in the airport.

Topping the list was Kuwait International Airport which only had 11.11 percent of passengers highly approve of the waiting time in the airport.

Casago noted that the current uptick in air travel has been leading to long lines in airports, which in turn cause long waiting times.

Following two years of lockdown restrictions, airlines and airports worldwide struggled to meet the post-pandemic demand of 2022, resulting in a significant influx of travelers and leading to delays and bottlenecks in the form of long queues, it explained.

Meanwhile, Singapore's Changi International Airport was named the world's best in giving a smooth experience to passengers. More than 70 percent of travelers rated it 4 to 5 stars on the travel website.

To avoid the hassle of being stuck in long lines, Casago tells passengers to check in online, book flights that depart during less busy times, and use priority lanes for those eligible.
