TECNO to launch a mid-range flip phone?
When the TECNO Phantom V Fold was unveiled, many were surprised due to its being nearly 50 percent lower than its competitors. Now the phone maker intends that way too by offering a mid-range flip phone.
The images surfaced when notable leaker, Paras Guglani of Newzonly shared the photos and key information of the upcoming clam-shell phone.
The photos suggest that TECNO has taken a unique approach to its circular cover display that is encircled with a camera ring too. If you compare, traditional flips have either squarish or rectangular outer screens.

Moving forward, the outer screen will have a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 resolution. While the inner main display will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2640.
Inside, the device is allegedly equipped with a 6nm 3.0GHz Dimensity 8050 8-core chip with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
For battery, it will be powered by a dual battery configuration. It will be a combo of 1165mAh and 2735mAh capacities (4,000mAh total).
On the side of the camera, it is rumored to feature 64MP AF main + 13MP secondary and 32MP selfie shooter.
The rest of the information mentioned is it will come with 14 different 5G bands, Android 13 OS, and Black, White, and Periwinkle Purple color choices.
Finally, the photo teasers are expected to debut next month while the official launch is presumed to happen on October 2023.
