The OPPO A78 4G is one of the newest phones of the company in the country.

It boasts a Diamond Matrix Design at the back that gives an "exquisite and unique back cover texture" in Mist Black and Aqua Green colorways.

Highlights of the OPPO A78 4G

In front, it goes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and FHD+ resolution. While it is smaller, this is an upgrade over the 6.56-inch LCD HD+ screen of the A78 5G. It even has an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X, but it could be expanded up to 16GB (+8GB more) virtually with the help of its 256GB of UFS 2.2 expandable storage.

For the battery, it has a large 5,000mAh capacity. According to OPPO, it can last for 16.37 hours of YouTube video playback and can easily last for an entire day in average mode. It even has the Super Power Saving mode and Super Night-time Standby mode which allows you to further save power.

Of course, it has OPPO's Battery Health Engine that helps your battery remain nearly as good as new for over 4 years of daily use.

The other highlight of the device is it is equipped with the company's USB-C 67W SUPERVOOC safe fast charging technology. The company said that with this, you can juice up your battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 44 minutes.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter with AF + open ring focus. It is paired with a 2MP f/2.4 Portrait + IR lens. For selfies, you will find an 8MP f/2.0 with an 83-degree field of view.

The device also has Dual Stereo Speakers and Ultra Volume Mode that can increase volume up to 300 percent. It even has the "Real HD Sound" tech to tune your sound for gaming, watching videos, and listening to your favorite tracks.

It also has dual-band WiFi, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and dual ISM slots.

The device runs with Android 13 OS out of the box with ColorOS 13.1 skin.

It has been tested for longevity as well. The company said that through the optimization of software, hardware, and other comprehensive technologies, OPPO A78 has passed the 48-month fluency testing in its own laboratory.
