The OPPO A38 is a promising-looking device with a design that looks like its more expensive siblings. It arrived with the OPPO Glow with Glowing Black and Glowing Gold colorways.

Highlights of the A38

In front, it uses a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a notch for the 5MP selfie camera. This has an 89.80 percent screen-to-body ratio and a "Sunlight-ready" 720 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, it is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with up to 2.0GHz clockspeed and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 (1,000MHz) GPU. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM that could be expanded virtually up to 4GB and a 128GB eMMC 5.1 expandable internal storage.

For battery, the OPPO A38 has a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. According to OPPO, it can reach up to 50 percent battery capacity in just 30 minutes of charging.

The device also has a 50MP AI main shooter with AF and LED flash, side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 13 OS ColorOS 13.1 skin. OPPO claims that this one even has the 36-Month Fluency rating ensuring that it will run smoothly for years.
