DOOGEE Smini announced: Compact rugged design, 4.5-inch screen, Helio G99 chip, 50MP cam

DOOGEE has just launched a new compact smartphone with a rugged design called the "Smini".

The DOOGEE Smini boasts a MIL-STD-810H standard body with IP68 water and dust resistance as well as an IP69K rating for resistance against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets.

Highlights of DOOGEE Smini

Since it is a compact phone, the device measures 133.0 x 60.0 x 13.5 mm and weighs 155 grams. It is available in Frost Silver, Silver Purple, and Secret Realm Black colorways.

For the display, it is packed with a 4.5-inch LCD (IPS) screen with qHD+ 1170 x 480 resolution without a notch or punch-hole.

There is also a power-saving 7-segment second display at the back for showing time, temperature, battery level, and more.

Inside, the device is powered by the 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, 7GB Extended RAM, 256GB internal storage, up to 2TB microSD card slot expansion, and a 3,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP AI main camera and a 2MP macro shooter. In front, it has an 8MP selfie snapper.

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots. It runs with Android 13 OS out of the box.
