China-based global smartphone maker vivo has just launched the new Y17s in the Philippines.

In particular, the device features a trendy-looking design with a fingerprint-resistant AG texture back cover in Glitter Purple and Forest Green colorways, an IP54 rating for some sort of water and dust resistance, and a 700 nits bright 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with a notch for the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera with AI Face Beauty tech.
Inside, it is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W Fast Charge tech.

The device also has a bright 50MP f/1.8 main camera, and a 2MP bokeh secondary camera at the back. vivo said that this setup allows its users to take high-quality Portrait shots. This even has a Night mode that is suitable for non-moving objects in the dark.
Completing the specs, the vivo Y17s also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader to keep its back design clean, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, BT 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
The device runs with Android 13 OS with Funtouch OS 13 skin.
It measures 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09 mm and weighs 186 grams.
Coming from the Y17 of 2019, the Y17s is an upgrade in terms of speed and primary camera at a lower cost.
