Super Taxi is here!

It's a "convenient" ride-haling taxi service inspired by Japan's JPN Taxi boasting regular metered taxi fares while ensuring that the passengers are comfortable and safe.

The JoyRide Super Taxi comes in a spacious five-seater Toyota Velos cab with a black exterior, high roofing, a modern digital stoplight, and onboard amenities like an in-cabin infotainment system.

To ensure that the ride will be safe and stress-free, JoyRide claims that its riders undergo a stringent selection process similar to its existing fleet of driver-partners. The company claims that the riders are highly trained and courteous professionals.

How to use JoyRide Super Taxi?

1. Download JoyRide on Android or iOS
2. Open the app
3. Select Super Taxi
4. Choose your pickup and dropoff location, select the payment option
5. Press "Confirm Booking"

Initially, JoyRide will deploy 25 units in Metro Manila. After that, the company said that it will "rapidly" increase its fleet in 2024 (next year).

At the moment, JoyRide has garnered over 5 million app downloads since its launch in 2019. It has a network of over 30,000 2W and 4W driver-partners across Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Cebu, and Baguio City. Soon, its services will expand in Pampanga and Ilocos Norte.

JoyRide is the first homegrown "super app" in the Philippines.
