According to both firms, users may now link their Maya accounts to Grab using only their cellphone number, making purchases across Grab's array of safe and dependable services even easier. This direct linking is not only convenient, but it also reduces the burden of interbank transfer fees, allowing users to save even more money.

Maya, the first-of-its-kind collaboration with a digital bank, goes beyond simple payment processing. Using Maya's all-in-one digital banking, each Grab transaction can increase the user's Maya Savings interest rate, which can reach up to 14 percent p.a. and is credited daily. Additionally, as part of a Christmas promotion, users can receive up to PHP 5,000 cashback for payments made with Maya on Grab until December 2023.
