HUAWEI MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition launched: 2K 11.5-inch screen, SD888 4G, 8,300mAh battery!

HUAWEI released multiple devices yesterday, one of them is the PaperMatte Edition of the MatePad Air.

As you can see this is a revised version of the MatePad Air, the difference will be the special screen they implemented that uses nano-level anti-glare etching technology to ensure the display will not produce glare harmful to the user's eye.

The screen has a size of 11.5-inch LCD (IPS) with 2800 x 1840 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.8GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage.

The features

For battery, it has an 8,300mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and 40W SuperCharge adaptor.

For cameras, it has the same 13MP f/1.8 aperture sensor with AF while the front has 8MP f/2.2 for selfies.

Other features are the 4 speakers that support HUAWEI Histen 8.0 audio.

Wireless connectivity features are WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2. There's also an optional LTE variant as well.

For OS, it runs HarmonyOS 3.1 out of the box.

It is now listed on the HUAWEI website, however, availability is still unknown. There's a chance we may see it in late December or early January 2024.
