HUAWEI MateBook D16 2024 global launched: Intel 13th gen processors, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD!

Announced in China last November, HUAWEI brings the MateBook D16 to a global audience.

Global version of HUAWEI MateBook D16 2024 launched

To recap, the laptop boasts a premium metallic body that provides professional vibes similar to last year's MateBook.

Opening it, you will see the wide 16-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of max brightness, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and TUV Rheinland certification for eye protection.

Inside, it is powered by an Intel Core 13th-generation processor that can be configured up to Core i9-13900H. The i5 variant gets Intel UHD graphics while the i7 and i9 get Intel Iris Xe iGPUs. These are also paired with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 1TB M.2 SSD.

Ideal for productivity

In terms of battery, it is powered by 70WHr capacity and charges using USB-C and 65W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

Other features noted are a 1080p webcam, power button/ fingerprint sensor, full-sized keyboard + numpad, 2x speakers, and microphones.

On the ports, it has 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 w/ DP1.2 and PD, 1x HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity comes with WIFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1

For OS, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home Edition.

The pre-order begins on January 8 for Europe while the sale starts on January 22, 2024. It is already listed on HUAWEI's PH website so may see it soon here in the country.
