HUAWEI MateBook D16 2024: 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD!

Apart from the new MatePad, HUAWEI also announced the 2024 version of MateBook D16.

HUAWEI MateBook D16 2024 launched!

The brand retained its premium metallic design that radiates the professional look of the laptop.

It uses a 16-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 300 nits of peak brightness.

Inside, the laptop is powered by a 13th-gen series processor with selections of Core i5, i7, or up to i9 processors. The base versions get Intel UHD graphics while the i7 and i9 get Intel Iris Xe iGPUs. These are paired with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 1 TB M.2 SSD of the 2280 variety.

For the battery, it has a 70WHr capacity that charges using USB-C and a 65W power brick.

The laptop also uses a 1080p webcam, power button/fingerprint sensor, full-sized keyboard + numpad, 2x speakers, and 2x microphones.

For ports, it has 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 w/ DP1.2 and PD, 1x HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.

Wireless connectivity features are WiFi 6E (2.5GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1.

On the software side, the notebook runs Windows 11 Home Edition.

The new MateBook is currently available only in China. No word yet for a PH release or other markets.
