HUAWEI unveiled a 2024 version of the 11-inch MatePad Pro featuring Kirin chipset and newer technology.
The main highlight is the 2-way Beidou Satellite connectivity which should enable users to send messages even if they are located in a remote area.
In terms of design, it looks minimalist with plain color at the back and you can choose between Grey, Blue, White, and Black options.
At the front, the tablet boasts an 11-inch OLED screen with 2.5K 2500 x 1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 600 nits of max brightness.
Inside, is a Kirin 9000s chipset which is a modified 14nm made closer to a 7nm grade processor. It has 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.49GHz and a GPU called Maleoon 910.
It is paired with 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB/512GB. Meanwhile, the battery has 8,300mAh which can be charged using USB-C and 66W SuperCharge adaptor.
For cameras, it has a 13MP rear shooter + 8MP ultrawide sensor while at the front it has a 16MP selfie camera.
Other features are six speakers for immersive audio and a heat dissipation system to keep the temperatures in check.
Connectivity-wise, apart from the satellite SMS feature it also has WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2.
For software, the tablet runs HarmonyOS 4.0 out of the box.

It is now available to order in China however HUAWEI has not yet announced for other markets.
