HUAWEI MateBook D16 2024 now in PH stores: Premium metal body, Intel 12 or 13th gen CPUs, starts at PHP 38,999

Following the MateBook D16's official launch last week. Now the new premium-looking notebook is available in PH stores.

To recap, the new laptop features a sleek and portable design with 17mm thickness and improved durability with its metal form factor.

In terms of display, the laptop features a 16-inch LCD (IPS) screen with FHD 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a flexible hinge that allows the screen to be tilted by up to 180 degrees.

Inside, the laptop can be configured with the 4.4GHz Intel Core i5-12450H processor, 4.6GHz Core i5-13420H, or the 5.4GHz Intel Core i9 processor. These are paired with Intel UHD graphics or Intel Iris Xe iGPU depending on the processor choice.

They are also equipped with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD internal storage.

For battery, the Core i5 models are equipped with 56WHr capacity, the Core i9 variant gets the bigger 70WHr battery instead. All three models can be charged using a USB-C 65W SuperCharge adaptor.

The laptop's other highlight is its I Metaline Antenna, which provides optimum WiFi connectivity up to 270 meters and increases signal conversion efficiency by 70%. HUAWEI claims to have enhanced uplink and downlink performance by 3.5 dB.

It also includes AI sound effects and Sound TrueVoice technology, which enables remote sound pickup and AI noise cancellation for a better conferencing experience.

For software, it runs with Windows 11 Home operating system with pre-installed WPS Office with AI writer as well as a built-in PDF reader.
