Not coming to the United States?

Reports have claimed that the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a codenamed Aerodactyl is expected to be a more affordable option. It will borrow elements from its more expensive brother while also being a "clear upgrade" over the original Nothing Phone 1 on "every front".

The company recently also released the Glyph Developer Kit that allows developers access to the Glyph lighting on the back of the Nothing smartphones.

Several hours later, GSMArena reports that Nothing has made an official statement that clarifies that the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a will not be coming to the US. AT LEAST NOT TO REGULAR CONSUMERS similar to the Nothing Phone 1. (Which was later available in the US for purchase as part of a wider beta program.)

Twitter/X user Yogesh Brar recently posted online alleged key specs of the upcoming smartphone. He claims that it will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen, a Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP Selfie camera. It will run on Nothing OS 2.5 on top of Android 14. Lastly, it will allegedly support 45W fast charging.

Take the information from Twitter/X with a grain of salt until Nothing's official announcement on March 5, 2024.

What do you guys think?
