A simpler and more secure banking
Metrobank is reminding its customers to switch to its new app as its old mobile app will be permanently unavailable starting February 13, 2024.
For current or old Metrobank Mobile App users, you can easily log in to the new version using your existing log-in details. Just follow these steps:
1. Download the new app on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or the HUAWEI AppGallery.
2. Log in directly using your existing username and password. No need to sign up.
In case you already forgot your password, quickly change your account password on the new app.
Here's how:
1. On the login screen, tap "Recover Access"
2. Tap "I forgot my password"
3. Select where you would like to receive the verification code and tap "Proceed"
4. Enter your email address or mobile number, depending on the channel you selected
5. Enter your passcode, as well as the verification code you receive
6. Create your new password
Once you've created a new password, you can use your updated details to log in to the new Metrobank App.
Metrobank said it has "elevated banking experience" with its new app through:

- Cardless withdrawals at Metrobank and PSBank ATMs
- Waived InstaPay fees for transactions worth PHP 1,000 and below until June 30, 2024
- Money transfers with the Metrobank credit card as a source via PayNow
- Credit card limit to cash conversion via the Cash2Go service

- Customizable dashboard to easily access your most used features
- Dark mode feature to help conserve battery life
Soon, its users will also be able to enjoy enhanced safety features to ensure that your hard-earned money is secure:
