MWC 2024: TECNO SPARK 20 Pro+: 6.78-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED, Helio G99 Ultimate, 108MP cam

At its MWC 2024 booth last week, TECNO also showcased the SPARK 20 Pro+.

TECNO SPARK 20 Pro+ is an entry-level phone with several premium looks and features

The TECNO SPARK 20 Pro+ is the newest member of the company's entry-level SPARK Series with several upgrades over the regular SPARK 20 Pro.

It boasts a premium sandwiched 3D curved design in Temporal Orbits, Lunar Frost, Radiant Starstream, and Magic Skin 2.0 Green (faux leather) design at the back with IP53 water splash and dust resistance.

In front, the handset uses a 6.78-inch Gorilla Glass 5 protected 3D 56.5 degrees curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and an In-Display fingerprint sensor. It also has a top-center punch-hole housing the 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera with Dual Flash.

Key specs of the TECNO SPARK 20 Pro+

Inside, it is packed with the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. According to MediaTek, the G99 Ultimate was specifically tuned to run better, smoother, and more optimized than the regular G99. It is also the company's most capable 4G chip yet.

It is paired with 8GB RAM, up to 8GB Extended RAM (up to 16GB in total), 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W fast charging.

One of the main highlights of the handset is it is packed with a large 108MP main camera with f/1.75 aperture size, 1/1.67 large sensor size, 6P element lens, PDAF focus, and 3x In Sensor Zoom support.

The device also has stereo speakers with up to 400 percent volume mode, Hi-Res Wired and Wireless Certification, and runs with Android 14 OS with HiOS 14 skin out of the box.
