OPPO has introduced the K12 smartphone featuring the latest mid-range chip from Qualcomm.
It bears similarities to the OnePlus Nord that was introduced earlier this month. With that, it is safe to assume this device is intended for Chinese consumers only.
Anyways, the phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness.
Inside, it is equipped with the 2.63GHz Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
For battery, the phone comes with a 5,500mAh capacity that charges using a 100W SUPERVOOC adaptor and USB-C cable.
OPPO K12 uses a 50MP Sony LYT-600 with f/1.8 aperture and an OIS + 8MP Sony IMX355 120-degree ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.
At the front, it comes with 16MP for selfie imaging.
Other features noted are the In-Display fingerprint sensor, IP54 dust, and splash resistance rating.
For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top.

It is now available for pre-order in China. While the sale begins on April 29, 2024.
