After the leaks, Redmi officially launched the Turbo 3 phone together with the limited edition Harry Potter design.

Redmi Turbo 3 is now official!

The regular version boasts a minimalistic back panel in Black, Green, and Gold color options.

There's also a unique version based on Harry Potter which brings a combo of Purple and Gold colorways, a large logo of the movie/book, and a wand pattern casting a "Lumos" spell on its circular flash. It makes sense that Lumos means illuminate in the series.

Again this unique variant comes with a modified case, card pin, manual charger, and a Diagon Alley-inspired box design.

From the ground up both are similar in terms of hardware. At the front, the phone boasts a 6.7-inch 1.5K 12-bit OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 2400 nits of peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

It is also one of the first devices to feature the 3.0GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU. This brings 1,754,299 score points in the AnTuTu benchmark based on Xiaomi's claims.

It is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 90W fast charging support.

Furthermore, its cameras boast the 50MP f/1.59 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS + 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide snapper + circular LED flash. For taking selfies, the Redmi Turbo 3 features a 20MP OmniVision OV20B front-facing shooter.

Other features are an In-Display fingerprint reader, IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res audio certification.

For connectivity, the phone features 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with HyperOS.

The phone is now available to order while the sale begins on April 15 in China. No word yet if this will come to the Philippines.

  1. Nice! Now I'm torn between Redmi note 13 pro plus and Redmi Turbo 3. Time to upgrade my 3-year old Redmi note 9pro.
