HONOR Magic 6 Pro to launch on May 8 in the Philippines!

HONOR confirms the launch date of Magic 6 Pro aka the current world's top 1 camera smartphone based on DxOMark.

HONOR Magic 6 Pro is to arrive in PH this May 8!

To recap this phone features a 50MP OVH9000 f/1.4-f/2.0 variable aperture main camera with OIS + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle camera + 180 f/2.6 Periscope Telephoto sensor with 2/5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, OIS. For selfies, this comes with a 50MP sensor + 3D depth sensor.

Moreover, this camera is supported with advanced AI to boost substantially the imaging experience of its users.

With a combination of hardware and software, the HONOR Magic 6 Pro currently holds the title as the no. 1 camera phone on DxOMark's world ranking.

Apart from these camera features, it also comes with a variety of top-notch hardware such as a 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED screen with 5,000 nits peak brightness, 2800 x 1280 resolution, 4320Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, HONOR NanoCrystal Shield with 10x drop resistance.

The triple-camera setup

Powering the unit is a 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options, 5600mAh battery with 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless charging.

The rest mentioned are stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Connectivity-wise, the phone features 2-way satellite messaging, 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with Magic UI 8.0 skin on top.
