MWC 2024: HONOR Magic6 Pro launched: 5,000nits OLED, SD8G3, 50MP OVH9000 + 180MP periscope cam!

HONOR officially introduces the Magic 6 Pro (Global) here in MWC 2024 Barcelona, Spain.

The Magic6 Pro Design

HONOR Magic6 Pro launched!

This device is the top-end model among its Magic variants featuring different design variations. 

It has that neat-looking Green, Black, and Purple colorway. There's also the more dashing appearance with Marble-like effects in White and Blue-green colorways.

The display

At the front, the phone features a 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED panel with 5,000 nits max brightness, 2800 x 1280 resolution, 4,320Hz PWM dimming (Flicker-free), Dolby Vision, HONOR NanoCrystal Shield with 10x drop resistance, and has won the first Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for five-start drop resistance as claimed by the phone maker.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

For battery, it has 5,600mAh that charges using 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge, and 66W wireless charging. 

The triple-camera system

For cameras, it has a 50MP wide main shooter OVH9000 f/1.4-f/2.0 aperture main camera + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide shooter + 180MP f/2.6 Periscope Telephoto with 2/5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, OIS.

The selfie side has a 50MP front sensor + 3D depth helper.

Other features noted are stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Connectivity-wise, the phone features 2-way satellite messaging, 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with Magic UI 8.0 skin on top.
