Panasonic Lumix S9 launched: Tiny full-frame camera, 24.2MP, colorful designs, price starts at PHP 94,491!

Panasonic announces its own version of a small full-frame camera in the form of a Lumix S9.

Panasonic launches a compact full-frame camera!

As you can see the Lumix S9 boasts a compact form with an interchangeable lens feature. It also has that stylish leather on the body with Green, Red, Black, and Blue colorways.

The four colors

One of the key features is the 24.2MP sensor which is found on the previous S5 II but with a bigger body. Panasonic claims this is capable of recording video at 6K resolution and 30 fps in 4:2:0 10-bit.

It is also capable of taking 4K60 in 4:2:2 10-bit style. The camera also features IBIS, Phase Hybrid AF which enables the Lumix S9 to be an effective hybrid camera, particularly with its rotating touchscreen display like most of Panasonic's products.

Moreover, the Lumix S9 can utilize a similar feature to Fujifilm's iconic Film Simulation Modes using Real-Time LUTs also known as Look Up Table. These are color profiles that users may access to record footage to save time on color grading in post.
