The OPPO A60 is the company's newest value-for-money smartphone boasting a sturdy build designed to last for years.

Key features of the upcoming OPPO A60

In particular, the handset was certified to have the MIL-STD 810H rating. It means that it is a military-grade shock resistance test, which includes multi-angle drop tests, high-intensity impact tests, and other high-standards durability tests.

According to OPPO, the device was tested to survive harsh conditions, multiple heavy vibrations, bumpy roads, and even falls up to 1.22 meters high.

Moreover, it has an IP54 rating to protect it against water splashes.

Despite its mentioned ruggedness, OPPO was able to make it a stylish and slim-looking smartphone.

The device is available in sleek-looking Ripple Blue and Midnight Purple colorways and comes with a 6.67-inch LCD (IPS) panel with HD+ 1604 x 720 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 950 nits of peak brightness. This display even has a "Splash Touch Feature" which ensures good touch accuracy even when the screen or your fingers are wet with water or even oil.

Other highlights of the handset include a 50MP "Ultra-Clear Dual Camera" setup, 5,000mAh battery capacity, 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, and 300% Ultra Volume Mode.

OPPO has yet to reveal more details about this phone in the coming days. But, it appears to be similar to the A60 handset launched in Vietnam a month ago.

There is no word about its pricing yet, but OPPO claimed that it will be "affordable" for what it offers.
