The renowned benchmark apps for mobile have announced their own version of the benchmark intended for electric vehicles.
The main purpose is to accurately assess the electric vehicle's infotainment performance by testing the chips, RAM, and storage similar to a smartphone benchmark app.
Along with the introduction, AnTuTu shared the results of several of the automobiles it examined last month. The Zeekr 007, the Xpeng X9, and the Mercedes EQE are ranked first through third. Other familiar EVs on the list are the Xpeng P7i (8th), the Nio ET7 (12th), the Polestar 2 (14th), and the Audi Q4 e-tron (17th).
Meanwhile, the popular Xiaomi SU7 also belongs in the list of AnTuTu for EVs which gained 957,833 points or equivalent technically equivalent to at least the top 4. Hopefully, it will be in its rightful place on the updated list for June. Just a reminder, the SU7 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip.
The benchmark app will take some time to gain traction and build a more extensive database, and it will be interesting to see which brand has the most responsive infotainment systems.
What do you guys think?
