Finally, Apple has announced the date of its Apple Event. The tech giant’s biggest annual event will be held on September 9 this year at 10 a.m. PT or September 10 at 1 a.m., Philippine time.

Of course, it is expected that Apple will launch its latest iPhone 16 series.

According to information from Apple Hub, the new lineup will still have 4 variants ranging from iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. All of which will have a minimum of 8GB RAM and will feature Apple Intelligence, the brand's term for its own AI.

The iPhone 16 will feature a colorful aluminum design, a 6.1-inch screen with 60Hz refresh, a 3nm A18 chip, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options, a 3,561mAh battery, 12MP ultra-wide camera, 2x optical zoom, WiFi 6E connectivity and unofficial USD 799 (around PHP 45K) starting price.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Plus will allegedly have an aluminum design, a 6.7-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 3nm A18 chip, 128GB/256GB/512GB, a 4,006mAh battery, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 2x optical zoom, WiFi 6E, and an unofficial price USD 899 (around PHP 50.7K).

As for the Pro versions, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to come with a Titanium design, a 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 3nm A18 Pro chip, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, 3,355mAh battery, 48MP ultra-wide, 5x optical zoom, WiFi 7, and an unofficial starting price of USD 1,099 (around PHP 61.9K).

Lastly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a similar Titanium design, a bigger 6.9-inch screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 3nm A18 Pro chip, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, 4,676mAh, 48MP ultra-wide, 5x optical zoom, WiFi 7, and an unofficial starting price of USD 1,199 (around PHP 67.5K)

Aside from its iPhone series, Apple is also expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new AirPods models at the event.
