In partnership with tech titan HUAWEI, a new way to pay via GCash is coming to HUAWEI smartwatches soon.

First teased in 2023, HUAWEI watches will be the with smartwatches in the country that will allow Filipinos to make payments from their wrist.

The feature is called "Watch Pay" by GCash and HUAWEI.

Pay via QR using your HUAWEI smartwatch with GCash soon

Previously, HUAWEI announced that this service will be available on the HUAWEI Watch 4.

But, it is expected that this feature will arrive to other HUAWEI watches like the FIT 3 and its upcoming devices later this year.

HUAWEI previously explained that its users may show the GCash QR code on their watches to  provide users a more easy way of paying in the stores like coffee shops, buying clothes, fast foods, and more.

So even if its users don't bring out their phones, wallets, or cards, they can pay with their watches.
