HONOR Magic7 Series and MagicOS 9.0 launching in China this October with enhanced AI features

HONOR wants us to "Witness the magic of AI"
HONOR confirmed the arrival of the Magic7 series this October 30, 2024. The upcoming Magic 7 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The brand is planning to make the Magic7 one of the first devices with the new chipset alongside the Xiaomi 15 and OnePlus 13.

Prolific leaker Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo claims that the Magic7 series will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, an ultra-sonic fingerprint scanner, 100W wired fast charging, and fast wireless charging. The 5,600mAh battery, the main camera, and the periscope camera will supposedly remain from the previous generation; however, the primary sensor will be the OV50H instead of the OmniVision OVH9000. This means that we could see a 50MP primary camera and a 180MP periscope camera on the Magic7 Pro.
Digital Chat Station ended with the claim that the Magic 7 Ultimate Edition with the OmniVision's new OV50K large-size sensor is under testing.
FoneArena reports that the Magic7 Pro will retain the center capsule on the front with dual cameras. It will apparently feature an equal-depth quad-curved screen, a right-angled metal middle frame, red power button, and inside will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite that is expected to be introduced next week.

A week before the Magic7 series' announcement is the launch of the HONOR MagicOS 9.0 on October 23, 2024.
During the IFA in Berlin, Germany, last month, the brand showcased the HONOR AI Agent personal assistant. It uses language analysis and UI awareness to understand the user's requests while learning from the user's habits and device environment to automate complex tasks.
The AI Agent will debut with the HONOR Magic7 Series, and it promises deeper AI integration into daily routines.
