How to use Meta AI on Messenger

This can be used even in an existing chat.

Filipinos can now access Meta AI via the Messenger app. This feature, powered by Llama 3.2, functions just like any AI assistant wherein users can ask anything they need.

There are different ways to access this:

Meta AI tab

• From the Messenger mobile app, tap the Meta AI tab below
• Select one of the suggested prompts, or tap the text box to enter your own prompt
• Meta AI will respond to you in a chat, where you can continue the conversation

From search on Messenger

• From the Messenger mobile app, tap Ask Meta AI for anything in the search bar.
• Select one of the suggested prompts, or enter your own prompt then tap search on your keyboard.
• Meta AI will respond to you in a chat, where you can continue the conversation

Note: Users can mention the Meta AI assistant in an existing chat with other people to access it.

Mention @Meta AI in an existing chat

• Open an existing chat
• In the text box, enter @ then tap Meta AI, followed by your message. For example, you can ask the AI to answer a question or tell a joke
• Meta AI’s response will be sent as a message in the chat
