HONOR Magic7 Pro launched: SD 8 Elite, 200MP telephoto, IP69 rating

HONOR launched the Magic7 Pro bringing interesting changes.

Among the highlights is the addition of a 200MP telephoto OIS camera capable of shooting up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

Now uses a 200MP telephoto sensor

Its main shooter uses 50MP OVH9000 with f/1.4-f/2.0 variable aperture. The secondary sensor is a 50MP 122-degree ultra-wide with 2.5cm macro capability.

In terms of design, the Magic 7 Pro comes in Black, White, and Blue; the highlight color is Silver with cloudy patterns on its back.

The display

In front, the phone sports a 6.8-inch quad-curved OLED screen with 2800 x 1280 resolution, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and 5,000 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it is equipped with the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Qualcomm's flagship processor for this year.

The chip is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,850mAh battery with 100W wired SuperCharge, and 80W wireless charging.

Improved water resistance rating

Other features are IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 skin.
