GCash Watch Pay is now available on HUAWEI Watch GT 5 Series

Following the coming soon teaser last August 2024, the GCash Watch Pay is now available for the Watch GT 5 Series.

During the event, GCash also announced the new WATCH Pay feature for the HUAWEI Watch GT 5 Series.

To recap, the GCash Watch Pay is the first GCash QR code payment method available on a smartwatch. This capability also enables HUAWEI users to send and receive money, buy loads, and even pay for internet shopping with their smartwatches.

The rollout of the new feature on HUAWEI smartwatches started last November 9, 2024.

List of HUAWEI smartwatches that will get the Watch Pay support:

• HUAWEI Watch GT 5 Series
• HUAWEI Watch Fit 3
• HUAWEI Watch Ultimate Design

HUAWEI also announced that its other smartwatch units will be equipped with the said feature by November 15. Meanwhile, the Watch Pay feature will become available to iOS users by December 15.
