Xiaomi unveils the REDMI K80 featuring various upgrades from its predecessor.
The phone also received a fresh look with its two-tone appearance and is available in Black, Blue, or Green color choices.
In front, the REDMI K80 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 3200 x 1440 resolution, 12-bit colors, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2560Hz touch sampling rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, it comes with the 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU, 12GB/16GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
For battery, it has a massive 6,550mAh capacity which charges using USB-C and 90W power brick. It also has the Surge P3 charging chip and Surge G1 battery management chip for optimized power draw and safe charging.
For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter + a 2MP macro helper. On the selfie side, it has a 20MP front camera.
Other features noted are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP68/69 dust and water resistance for durability and sustained water dips.
Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.
For OS, the device runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.

It is currently available in China. No word yet for global release as of the moment.
