Tesla has arrived and introduced the new Model Y for the Philippine market alongside the new Model 3, Tesla Showroom and Tesla Superchargers.
The new Model Y is a fully electric mid-size SUV that can be configured with rear-wheeled or all-wheel drive motors, up to 533km range (WLTP), and up to 2,158 liters of cargo space. It shares parts with the Model 3 too.
It bears the title of the world's best-selling vehicle (beating the Toyota Corolla) while having the highest safety ratings. It has been designed to balance performance with a spacious cabin while maximizing range for everyday 'electric' adventures.
The car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds while the long-range model. Like the Model 3, it features the basic Auto Pilot. Customers can opt for the enhanced and full self-driving capability as a PHP 197,000 or PHP 394,000 upgrade respectively.
The car will receive OTA updates that will 'continuously improve' your Tesla.
Alongside the new vehicles, Tesla also introduced the first indoor Supercharger station in the country at the Uptown Mall. Supercharging will be available on a pay-per-use basis, offering Tesla owners an exceptional charging experience at PHP 19 per kWh. A full charge for a Model 3 costs approximately PHP 1,140.

The first batch of Tesla Model Ys will begin arriving in the country in early 2025.
