GPU computing as a service arriving soon?
The VITRO Sta. Rosa (VSR) Hyperscale Data Center is the first AI-ready data center in the country and can handle up to 50kW per rack that caters to NVIDIA's latest GPU chips such as H100 and H200.

GPU is preferred for parallel processing like AI-applied workloads |
As we continue to innovate at VSR to accommodate the growth of AI, we have outlined a roadmap for GPU stacks capable of supporting up to 50 kW now and 100 KW in the future, ensuring we meet the demands of high-density AI workloads, Genuino added.

Projected Power Density and Cooling for current and future data center workloads |
VITRO has also activated VSR's network infrastructure, marking the facility's readiness to deliver seamless connectivity solutions tailored to clients' business needs. VSR now offers interconnection with other VITRO sites and hosts the VITRO Internet Exchange, which supports the country's richest IP ecosystem.
ePLDT and VITRO aim to provide high-performance computing in the Philippines and launch 2025 Graphics Processing Unit-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) in 2025. As a pioneering service by ePLDT and VITRO, GPUaaS is on-demand access to powerful AI resources without hefty hardware investments. This service aims to empower large enterprises and government agencies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and growth.
This initiative should position the Philippines as a leading digital hub in the Asia Pacific. Which should attract cloud and AI companies and should support sustainable development goals.
Will this move revolutionize the business landscape and will it drive innovation and progress in the Philippines?
