HONOR GT launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and advanced cooling

HONOR GT was announced as the brand's entry for mobile phone gaming.

The new device sports three design colorways of Black, White, and Green and has a rectangular camera island. You can also spot the GT  logo just next to the LED flash,

In front, it has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DC-P3 wide color gamut, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and 4,000 nits peak brightness.

The features

Inside, it has a 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 8-core chip and Adreno GPU, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, 5,300mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 main shooter + 12MP ultra-wide with macro + LED flash. At the front, it also uses a 16MP selfie camera.

To cool the powerful chip, HONOR uses what they call the first 3D waterfall VC and dual main flow capillary net design which simulates nature's heat dissipation cycle, regulates the heat dissipation experience throughout the entire link, and even uses the first 9W high-performance thermal conductive gel.

Furthermore, it has stereo speakers for immersive listening.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NS, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.

HONOR GT 16GB/256GB - CNY 2,399 (around PHP 19.3K)

HONOR GT 12GB/512GB - CNY 2,599 (around PHP 20.9K)

HONOR GT 16GB/512GB - CNY 2,899 (around PHP 23.3K)

HONOR GT 16GB/1TB - CNY 3,299 (around PHP 26.6K)

It is now available in China and the sale begins on December 24. Unfortunately, it is unknown if it will arrive in other markets.
