HONOR Pad V9 launched: 11.5-inch 2.8K display, Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition

Apart from gaming-centric HONOR GT, the brand also introduced the Pad V9.

It comes in three colorways Purple, White, and Light Grey with neat aesthetics. You could also spot the round camera island as well as the circled metal design on its LED flash and AI Camera logo next to it.

In front, it uses an 11.5-inch IMAX Enhanced screen with 2.8K 2800 x 1840 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, and TUV Rheinland verification for low blue light.

Inside, it uses a 4nm Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition although the clock speed is not mentioned. It is paired with 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage, and a large 10,100mAh battery with 66W USB-C HONOR SuperCharge.

For cameras, the tablet has a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Other features are 8 speakers, Spatial audio, Hi-Res audio certification, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced.

HONOR also boasts the following several AI features:

AI Note Synchronization: This allows users to do actual voice-to-text recording with different language translations.

AI Typesetting Summary: instant summary for your notes.

AI Multi-Paper Comparison: Gets the highlights from multiple documents.

AI Document Q&A: Enables continuous document-based queries.

Furthermore, the tablet comes with a YOYO Assistant, a HONOR Digital Human, and a HONOR Magic Door for customized, seamless AI interactions.

Connectivity features are WiFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

For OS, it runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 skin on top.

It is now available for pre-order in China and the sale begins on December 24. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines.
