The scandal involving actress and singer Maris Racal and her fellow actor Anthony Jennings made them the hottest terms that Filipinos searched on Google on December 4.

According to Google Trends, the search term “Maris Racal” scored 100 in the Philippines just before 1:00 a.m., which signified that Filipinos were searching for her the most on Google at that time. The search interest in Racal remained high throughout Wednesday morning.

Metro Manila topped the list of interest by region, followed by Calabarzon, Central Visayas, Central Luzon, and Western Visayas.

Some of the related topics were screenshots, breakup, and Jam Villanueva, Jennings' ex-girlfriend who exposed the alleged cheating.

Meanwhile, the search term “Anthony Jennings” peaked in the Philippines at 75 at 12:40 a.m., also indicating strong interest.

These two beat search interest in South Korea, wherein its President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law on the evening of December 3.
