OPPO A5 Pro launched: Dimensity 7300, IP69 rating, 6,000mAh battery

The A5 Pro comes with 4 colorways of Black, Purple, Red and White all of which have marble like design at the back.

The phone also sports IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance making it able to survive dust, water, freezing and other harsh environmental situations.

Furthermore, according to OPPO, it is the first phone on the market to successfully complete 14 extensive environmental tests that meet military standards, working in temperatures ranging from 35 to 47 degrees Celsius.

In front, the device uses a 6.7-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED screen with 2412 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz high PWM dimming.

Inside, it uses a 2.5GHz 4nm Dimensity 7300 octa-core processor with Mali-G615 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

For battery,  the phone sports 6,000mAh size charging with USB-C and 80W SUOERVOOC.

Camera-wise, it has 50MP main shooter with f/1.98 aperture and OIS + 2MP mono camera + LED flash and 16MP selfie shooter.

Other features noted are stereo speakers for immersive listening.

Connectivity-features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, Beidou, GPS, and NFC. It also has OPPO's Hunter Antenna Architecture for improve signals.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO A5 Pro 8GB/256GB - CNY 1,999 (around PHP 16K)

OPPO A5 Pro 8GB/512GB - CNY 2,199 (around PHP 17.6K)

OPPO A5 Pro 12GB/512GB - CNY 2,499 (around PHP 20K)

The phone is now available for order in China and the sale begins on December 27. No word yet for PH availability.
