HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design launched in China: SD8 Elite, 24GB RAM, Enhanced 200MP 3x periscope
Following the launch of the Magic7 series in October 2024, HONOR introduced the new Magic7 RSR Porsche Design with an enhanced look and periscope camera.

Iconic Hexagonal design and structure
Back in October, HONOR introduced the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro. The new RSR Porsche edition is built on the Magic7 Pro and shares a majority of its specifications.
The new RSR Porsche Design variant of the Magic7 Pro comes with the brand's iconic hexagonal structure, classic Porsche design elements, a new NanoCrystal Shield-protected display, an IP69 + IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and an upgraded 200MP 3x Periscope telephoto camera.
To recap, it features a 6.8-inch curved LTPO OLED with a 2,800 x 1,280 resolution, a 5,000 nits peak brightness, a 1-120Hz refresh rate, and a 4,320Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming. It is Glory King Kong Rhinoceros glass protected.
Inside is the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor, Adreno 830 GPU, 16GB/24GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,850mAh Qinghai Lake battery with 100W wired SuperCharge and 80W wireless fast charging via USB-C.
At the back are the HONOR Porsche Design branding and the hexagonal camera module. On the module are the 50MP f/1.4-2.0 main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 50MP f/2.0 122-degree ultra-wide angle camera with 2.5cm macro and a 200MP f/1.88 3x telephoto periscope camera with 1/1.4-inch sensor, OIS, 100x digital zoom and an LED flash.
HONOR says that it incorporated a new 1Glass + 5Plastic floating lens group. The brand added dual electromagnetic motors and a new 1200 LiDAR sensor to further improve the longer zoom range autofocus.
While in front is the 50MP f/2.0 selfie camera with 3D Depth.
The phone features IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance, dual WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, OTG, IR blaster, NFC, Stereo speakers, GPS, Beidou, AGPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
It measures 162.7 x 77.1 x 8.8mm and weighs 228 grams. Running the show is Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. Lastly, it will come in either Gray or Purple colorways.
