HUAWEI revealed the Enjoy 70X featuring a stylish design, a very large battery, and satellite connectivity.
The new phone is available in Snow White, Gold Black, Lake Blue, and Spruce Green elegant colorways.
In front, it uses a curved 6.78-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate, and has an 8MP camera housed in the pill-shaped centered notch.
Similar to newer HUAWEI devices, the firm has also kept silent about its chip and RAM. Speculations suggest the Enjoy 70X could be the same smartphone spotted on a Geekbench listing with a new Kirin 8000A 5G.
It's a 6-core SoC with a 2.19GHz max boost clock and is paired with Mali-G610 GPU and 8GB RAM. The Geekbench result suggests the performance is quite close to a Snapdragon 695 chip.
What's confirmed here is the storage which has 128GB 256GB, and 512GB models.
Another highlight is the battery which is a 6,100mAh size + a USB-C 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.
For cameras, the phone is equipped with a 50MP f/1.9 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor with a dual-pixel PDAF + 2MP depth shooter.
Other features mentioned are an IP64 rating and a programmable X button to quickly launch frequently used apps, widgets, or contacts.
It's still unknown whether the phone supports 5G given the restrictions on HUAWEI but it should have 4G for its data connectivity. The device also has WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS.
Another noteworthy is the satellite connectivity on a mid-range device which allows users to send or receive SMS text and images in China only.
For OS, the phone runs HarmonyOS 4.2 out of the box.
