Following its global announcement, the Lenovo Legion Go S gets its price in the Philippines.
To recap, this is the more affordable gaming handheld by Lenovo apart from the 1st iteration of Legion Go.
It resembles the ROG Ally with its White or Black body, RGB sticks, and traditional Xbox button layout. It also features adjustable triggers designed for various gaming genres, including racing, shooting, and RPGs. You don't really see these in other competitions.
The device is powered by the exclusive AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, which uses Zen 3 CPU architecture and AMD RDNA 2 graphics with 12 compute units. This delivers performance slightly below the Ryzen 5 6600U but outpaces the Steam Deck.
In terms of memory and storage, it supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 6400MHz and offers up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. A
The Legion Go S is equipped with a 3-cell 55.5WHr battery that charges via USB-C using a 65W charger.
Additional features include front-firing speakers, microphones, and a cooling system designed to maintain performance during gameplay.
The device includes a range of ports: a 3.5mm audio jack, two USB-C 4.0 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 support, and a microSD card slot.
For wireless connectivity, it supports WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.3.
For OS, the Legion Go S is offered in either SteamOS or Windows 11 Home.
