Home Credit PH records PHP 61 billion POS sales in 2024, Apple logs highest sales among brands

Nearly 3 million commodities financed in 2024

Home Credit Philippines has reported a 19 percent increase in its POS sales, reaching PHP 61 billion in 2024.

According to its recent sales report, a total of 2.91 million commodities were financed in the past year. The financing of these goods through product loans was driven by the company’s year-long campaigns and promotions, including its popular 0 percent interest installment financing.

This performance was fueled by top-financed categories, which collectively contributed PHP 57.4 billion to total sales.

Mobile phones and tablets topped the list, generating PHP 31.7 billion from 1.6 million units financed or 52 percent of the total POS sales volume. Brands such as Apple, Samsung, vivo, OPPO, and HONOR remained the top choices for Filipino consumers.

This was followed by home appliances that contributed PHP 10.2 million in sales from 477,000 units financed, representing 17 percent of the total sales. Driving this category were Panasonic, Condura, Samsung, LG, and Fujidenzo.

Computers ranked third, contributing PHP 7.1 billion from 232,000 units financed. Acer, Asus, Lenovo, HP, and HUAWEI dominated the segment. Meanwhile, televisions and electronics added PHP 6.6 billion, with 301,000 units financed from leading brands like Samsung, TCL, LG, Sony, and Skyworth.

Rounding out the top five, furniture accounted for PHP 1.8 billion in sales from 102,000 units, featuring brands such as San-Yang, Uratex, Infinite, and Dewfoam.

Home Credit also expanded its portfolio by introducing two-wheelers as a new financed category in 2024. A total of 2,870 units were sold valued at PHP 261 millionlast year.

In terms of brands, Apple logged the highest sales volume with PHP 10 billion, up 84 percent from 2023. This was thanks to iPhone sales, which accounted for 86 percent of its total volume. Notably, the iPhone 13 was the best-selling model, with 93,000 units financed through Home Credit in 2024.

Samsung followed, contributing PHP 6.6 billion in sales, while vivo secured PHP 4.3 billion, OPPO achieved PHP 4.1 billion, and HONOR generated PHP 2.5 billion.

On the retail front, Abenson was Home Credit's leading retail partner, achieving nearly PHP 4 billion in sales, followed by Rulls with PHP 3.8 billion, and Imperial Appliance Plaza with PHP 3 billion.
