No more updates soon

Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025.

This means that after the said date, there will no longer be free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. If you are still using this system, your PC will still work, but Microsoft recommends moving to Windows 11.

Windows 11 offers a modern and efficient experience designed to meet current demands for heightened security, the company said.

According to Microsoft, Windows 11 is easier on the eyes and easier to use. Some of its features include smart recommendations in File Explorer & Start Menu.

The Windows 11 Control bar also helps users easily jump back into the game they last played or into a new one.

On Windows 11, users will be able to replace passwords with passkeys for their websites and apps if offered by the website or application. Passkeys will also work on multiple browsers including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and others.

There is also the Smart App Control that provides a layer of security by only permitting apps with good reputations to be installed on your Windows 11 PC.

For display, auto HDR increases the range of colors both new and old games can produce. Available only on Windows 11, this new calibration app increases control of color.

Windows 11 was also designed with touch inputs in mind for a true mouse-less or keyboard-less experience.

What do you think guys?
