nubia revealed two gaming smartphones for the affordable consumers, dubbed the Neo 3 and a GT version.

Budget gaming phones

These phones rock an improved Mecha Design with LED lighting at the back. Moreover, they offer touch sensitive shoulder triggers to aid players in their games.

In front, both use 6.8-inch AMOLED panels with FHD+ 2392 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,200Hz instant touch sampling rate.

Inside, the nubia Neo 3 uses 2.2GHz 6nm UNISOC T8300 chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The nubia Neo 3 GT uses a slightly stronger 2.7GHz 6nm UNISOC T9100 chip with Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. Both are paired with 8GB/12GB RAM though unfortunately, the brand hasn't disclosed the storage variants.

Powering these gaming phones are either 5,000mAh or 6,000mAh capacities depending on the region they will be sold to. The GT model gets the faster 80W charging while the base Neo 3 uses 33W, both of which use a USB-C cable.

Camera-wise, they are equipped with 50MP rear shooter + 2MP depth helpers and an LED flash. At the front, they have a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features are stereo speakers, DTS: X Ultra, large VC cooling with 4083mm2 size to ensure the phones will have less heat during gameplay.

For now, these are the confirmed details, the brand left out the info in storage, connectivity, and Android version.

Euro price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

nubia Neo 3 - EUR 249 (around PHP 15.4K)
nubia Neo 3 GT - EUR 299 (around PHP 18.5K)

Both devices will roll out first in Europe by the end of March. We will let you know if these will come to the Philippines, so stay tuned with us.
