Confirmed: POCO F7 Series will get updates until 2031

At the launch of the POCO F7 Series earlier, the company confirmed that the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra will get long-term software support.

The announcement

According to the company, the two new powerful smartphones will get 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and a total of 6 years of security patches. This is an upgrade compared to the 3-year OS and 4-year security of the F6 Series last year.

Currently, both phones run on Android 15 OS with HyperOS 2.0 skin. This means that the two devices will get the latest Android software every year until 2029 or Android 19. Moreover, the phones will probably receive security patches until 2031.

At the event, the company announced that those who will buy the phones will also get 1 FREE screen replacement within the first 6 months after purchase. In the Philippines, this promo is applicable to those who will purchase the phone from March 27 to April 9, 2025.
