HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) w/ PaperMatte Display to launch in PH this August

First announced in Thailand last month, HUAWEI today confirmed that the MatePad 11.5 (2025) will launch in the Philippines this August 2025.

HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) is coming!

Available in a sleek-looking metallic body in Violet and Space Grey colorway, the new HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) features a premium-looking 11.5-inch panel with nano-level etching and magnetron nano optical coating technologies, resulting in its PaperMatte Display with anti-glare and anti-reflective properties. This also mimics the look and feel of writing and drawing on paper.

This also has a new circularly polarized light technology, reproducing the behavior of natural light for softer and more evenly dispersed illumination.

The result? It has several certifications for its eye-soothing properties. It includes SGS Low Visual Fatigue Premium Performance 2.0, TÜV Rheinland Circular Polarization, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free, designed to ensure eye safety and comfort in any scenario.

Other key specs of its display include a crisp 2456 x 1600 resolution, an optional PaperMatte panel, 60-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 16.7M colors, 100 percent sRGB, 86 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 600 nits peak brightness.

It also features an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a large 10,100mAh capacity (rated 14 hours) and charges using a 40W USB-C HUAWEI SuperCharge adaptor 90 mins full charge, 30-minute quick charge).

he MatePad 11.5 uses a 13MP AF camera with f/1.8 aperture + LED flash. At the front, it has an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Other features are quad-speakers and 2 microphones with HUAWEI Histen 9.0 Sound Effect.

Of course, it supports the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Generation), which is great to use on HUAWEI's self-developed GoPaint app. The M-Pencil (3rd generation) can also charge wirelessly.

HUAWEI Smart Keyboard, a detachable keyboard with support for both PC and Split forms, and has a 1.5mm key travel to make typing smooth and effortless. This also comes with function keys promising laptop-level ease of use.

For connectivity, it has WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) 2x2 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.2.

For software, the tablet runs on HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.

There is no official release date yet. But according to HUAWEI, those who will pay a PHP 500 deposit on the HUAWEI Online Store from August 18 to 28 will get a PHP 1,500 off when they pay for the remaining balance from August 29 to September 30, 2025.
