Acer Vero eco-friendly laser projectors launched with up to 100-inch display and FHD resolution

Acer unveils three models of eco-friendly laser projectors apart from the Travel Mate X4 14 laptop.

Vero XL2 Series and SL2520n

Environmental-friendly modern projectors

In line with Acer's environmental initiatives, the chassis of these projectors is constructed with 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastic, and their packaging is 100 percent built from recyclable materials.

The Acer Vero XL2320p, Vero XL2521, and Vero SL2520n are mercury-free laser projectors designed for long-term and sustainable use. 

The vero XL2 Series

These models are engineered for reliable performance, have lifespans of up to 30,000 hours, and consume up to 40 percent less power than traditional lamp-based projectors, which can reduce the total cost of ownership. 

The Vero SL2520n

As a short-throw model, the Vero SL2520n can project a 100-inch image from a distance of 1.1 meters, making it suitable for environments with limited space.

Meanwhile, all three projectors share the same core specifications, which include Full HD resolution and a brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens. 

They also feature 360-degree projection, portrait mode, and advanced 2D and 4-corner keystone correction for flexible installation in various settings. 

The three models feature an IP6X dustproof rating and 24/7 operation capability, allowing for use in demanding conditions. 

The projectors have a 93 percent Rec 709 color gamut and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Each model also includes a 15W built-in speaker and dedicated entertainment modes: football mode for the Vero XL2 Series and golf mode for the Vero SL2520n. 

The SL2520n is equipped with Ethernet slots, and all three models include two HDMI ports for connectivity.
