realme 15x launched: Dimensity 6300, IP68/69 rating, and 7,000mAh battery

realme introduces the 4th device under the realme 15 Series.

The new device is called the realme 15x, featuring a design available in Marine Blue, Aqua Blue, and Maroon Red color options. The device is built with an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, alongside MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

It features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. 

The cameras

Powering the phone is the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 8-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 2TB.

The handset is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery that supports 60W wired fast charging. 

For photography, the rear camera system is led by a 50MP sensor, while the front features a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. 

For connectivity, the phone supports WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

The realme 15x runs on realme UI 6, based on the Android 15 operating system.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

realme 15x 6GB/128GB - INR 16,999 (around PHP 11K)

realme 15x 8GB/128GB - INR 17,999 (around PHP 11.7K)

realme 15x 8GB/256GB - INR 19,999  (around PHP 13K)

It will be sold through the brand's official website, Flipkart, and various offline retail stores in India. In the Philippines, the device is quite identical to the realme 15T that will be launched on October 8, except for having a slightly stronger Dimensity 6400 Max chip.
