HUAWEI Watch Ultimate design: 18K/24K gold plating, 1.5-inch AMOLED, and 150-meter water resistance

Apart from the HUAWEI Mate X7 Global Edition, the brand also introduces the Watch Ultimate Design with up to 24K gold plating.

Ultra-premium watch from HUAWEI

HUAWEI has announced the global rollout of its Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition smartwatch, following its initial launch in China last month. The confirmation was made during a recent product event in Dubai.

The device is constructed from high-end materials, including titanium, zirconium-based liquid metal, sapphire glass, and 18K and 24K gold accents. 

It features a distinctive purple case and a matching titanium alloy strap with 24K gold plating, complemented by a 12-sided ceramic bezel.

The display

In front, the watch face is a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits.

Inside, the smartwatch supports eSIM calling with noise cancellation, local music storage, contactless payments, and GPS navigation. 

It is water-resistant up to 150 meters, includes diving-specific features like sonar-based underwater communication, and offers a Golf Course Mode in select regions.

The watch faces

HUAWEI states the battery provides approximately 2.5 days of typical use with the always-on display enabled.

A specific global release date has not been announced. In China, the model is priced at CNY 24,999 (around PHP 209.4K). For comparison, the earlier Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is priced starting at PHP 44,999.
