HONOR X9c 5G is the best-selling mid-range smartphone in the Philippines

At the recent launch of the X9d 5G, HONOR shared that its predecessor, the X9c 5G, was the best-selling mid-range smartphone in the Philippines in 2025.

If this internal data is accurate, it reveals that the HONOR X9c 5G (PHP 16,999 SRP last year) captured 55 percent of the market share in the mid-range PHP 15K to PHP 20K price category.

It showed steady growth from the 30 percent of the HONOR X9b 5G in 2024 and the 15 percent HONOR X9a 5G in 2023.

HONOR did not mention the exact number of units sold though.

This year, the Chinese company aims to continue this trend with the introduction of the HONOR X9d 5G (PHP 18,999 SRP).

AND, we won't be surprised if that happens. The new HONOR X9d 5G is packed with plenty of upgrades, including durability feats, water resistance, performance, and battery.

In particular, the HONOR X9d 5G now has up to 2.5 meters drop resistance, higher up to IP69K dust and water resistance, faster 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, and a bigger battery on a phone in the Philippines yet at 8,300mAh.
