Better and more Affordable?

Notebookcheck reports that Samsung is allegedly launching the next generation Galaxy A series before revealing the upcoming Galaxy S26 Series. Whether or not this is true remains a mystery. However, China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center or TENAA recently listed the smartphone with model number SM-A5760 (or the Galaxy A57) on its database, including its design and specifications.

The database includes images of the phone that confirm its flat front screen and purple colorway. The camera module now has two pill-shaped modules stacked on top of each other, housing the 3 rear cameras. Also on the back are the LED flash and the Samsung branding.

The Galaxy A57 is reportedly coming with a flat 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,304 x 1,080 resolution, an Exynos 1680 octa-core processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging via USB-C, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Other features include a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro camera, while in front is the 12MP selfie camera. It will measure 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9mm and weigh 182 grams.

Not much else is known about the phone.

Given that this information is from China's certification agency, the specifications should be accurate, but they could still change ahead of launch.

Stay tuned for more coverage on the Galaxy A series.
