Google Pixel 10a is now official
The new phone from Google incorporates a higher percentage of recycled materials than any previous A-series device.
It is the first model in the lineup to include recycled cobalt, copper, gold, and tungsten, with these materials accounting for at least 36 percent of the device by weight.
Its back panel is constructed from plastic, with 81 percent recycled content. The aluminum frame is made entirely from recycled content, and the packaging is completely plastic-free.
The Pixel 10a is available in four color options: Obsidian, Fog, Berry, and Lavender. Furthermore, it uses an IP68 dust and water resistance for added protection.
A new protective case, made from 36 percent recycled plastic and color-matched to the device, has been introduced. Neither the phone nor the case includes built-in magnets, so don't expect support for the Pixelsnap accessory on this one.
The display remains a 6.3-inch P-OLED screen with FHD+ 2424 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Inside, the phone is powered by the same 4nm Tensor G4 chipset like it's predecessor. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
Battery capacity remains at 5,100mAh, with Google estimating up to 30 hours of use on a full charge. Its wired charging has also been upgraded to 30W.
The camera system consists of a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens + LED flash.
Software features, including Camera Coach for photography guidance, Auto Best Take for group shots, and Add Me for composite images, are intended to enhance the camera experience.
The Pixel 10a launches with Android 16 pre-installed and is eligible for seven years of software updates, including Pixel Feature Drops. Software capabilities, such as the Gemini assistant and Gemini Live for voice-based interaction, are positioned as key differentiators from other mid-range devices.
